The best eyeliner pencil

I recently came across what I think maybe the best pencil eyeliner I ever used. It was unexpected and I didn't expect anything spectacular from this product, but here we are. On a recent trip to Target, I was completely ignoring what I went in there for and was wandering the aisles for things. Typical Target behavior for most people. I of course always have to take a quick walk through the beauty aisles to see if anything catches my eye and low and behold, I found something. I was actually running low on a few eyeliners in my kit, so this purchase is somewhat justified. I stumble across a new eyeliner pencil from NYX, the Epic Wear Eyeliner Sticks. It was extremely inexpensive so I threw it in my basket and continued with my target shopping.

I decided to buy three shades; deepest brown, pink spirit, and gilded taupe. I really only needed the brown shade but, I was intrigued and wanted to give a few a try.

The Epic Wear Eyeliner Sticks comes in 28 shades featuring matte and metallic finishes. It is waterproof, smudge-proof, and fade-proof all while providing all-day wear (36 hours to be exact).

This eyeliner performs extremely well and I was very impressed. The formula is very creamy and easy to apply to the eye, with no tugging on the skin. You also can easily take a brush and blend the color out depending on the type of look you are trying to create. Once the eyeliner is set, it is not going anywhere. The pigment is extremely rich and stays consistent throughout wear, even in the waterline. There is zero fading or wearing off of the product. Both the matte and metallic eyeliner perform exactly the same, with no change in formula. The metallic shades do not contain any chunky glitters, everything is finely milled and smooth.

The NYX Epic Wear Eyeliner sticks remind me a lot of the Haus Labs Eye-identify Gel Pencil Eyeliner. They both have similar shade ranges and the product's formulas are alike as well. It may or may not possibly be a dupe. If it does end up being declared a dupe you heard it here first.

I can tell you I definitely will be stocking my kit with more of these eyeliners. You cannot beat the affordable price and quality of the eyeliner. The color range also has a lot of versatility to create everyday glam looks and incorporate bolder pops of color. Very grateful to my Target impulse shopping leading me to a new staple in my pro makeup kit.
